About the R'tist
My name is Juliana Burgos and I was born and raised in Bogota Colombia. I have always in one way or another been involved in Art. I'm passionate when it comes to expressing my ideas and imagination and there are many art forms that allow me to express myself.
In my homeland of Colombia, I graduated University with a degree in TV Direction and Production. I have over 7 years experience in the media business and in that time I have worn many different hats. I have been behind and in front of the camera and still enjoy each new project that I'm able to work on. I have always been involved with MakeUp and have loved the different moods that one can choose according to the colors or styles. I have found that I really enjoy challenging projects and one of the most fulfilling is FX make up. Being able to add 30 years to someone is such a great accomplishment for me. My work includes experience in female/male make up for photos hoots, commercials and movies. Also aging processes, skin burns, scars and many other prosthetics.
Like a friend said "education is something that never should stop" so I keep educating my self in the new products and trends that are being used in the market so I can offer my clientèle a complete package in a honest, knowledgeable and professional way.
As a freelance MUA I have experience using many of the best brands in cosmetics like Mac, Makeup for Ever and Channel. I also work with retail brands like maybellin and Loreal teaching regular women to update there image and refresh their looks, who said that you need to spend a lot of money to look like a million bucks!.
By networking in different socials and event I have been able to work with several important photographers and models that have been pleased with the end result of my work I have done Natural Beauty to edgy Makeup and my portfolio and experience keeps growing in a very satisfying way.
My goal is to give you the best service.
